Andrew Zelby, MD, FAANS
ABOUT
Dr. Zelby is a board-certified neurosurgeon who has been performing brain and spine surgery for the past 29 years. He completed a neurosurgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center, followed by an orthopedic spine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. After completing his residency and spine fellowship, Dr. Zelby was an assistant professor in the Departments of Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery at Loyola. Since leaving Loyola in 1996, he has had an active practice in the western suburbs of Chicago. He is also an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Zelby has privileges at several hospitals in the Chicagoland area. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurosurgeons, and is a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Zelby is an expert in advanced, state-of-the-art surgical techniques. He also has over 20 years of experience as a medical expert, working with plaintiff and defense attorneys around the country in cases related to spine and brain conditions.
